Patients Always Come First

Through my personal experiences over the years, I have realized that, among other things, most of us take for granted the healthcare system we rely on for our medical needs. We tend to assume that the healthcare providers involved in the diagnosis and treatment always will do or rather should do the right thing for their patients from the very beginning. Such is the expectation of patients when they walk into for their treatment blindly relying onto the healthcare system.

But are the healthcare providers able to connect with this patient in person, to understand his anxieties, dilemmas and to understand each case as a distinct one?

There is immense pressure on doctors in most multi specialty corporate hospitals to achieve ‘targets’ coupled along with the growing nexus between corporate hospitals, pharma companies and doctors.
Are they really able to do justice to their patients in delivering the best medical care?

Does an average patient possess the clinical expertise to judge the success of his surgery?

Medical costs are increasing and so are the expectations. Is the Medical facility able to match up to these expectations?

Once the patent is on the path to recovery he turns into a customer in the same system.
What helps a patient judge their overall experience at Hospitals? What builds the trust in the whole system be it the Hospitals or the Insurance providers?

It is these gaps that we are trying to fill in by transforming the patients experience while getting treated at a Hospital facility of his choice.  We understand these pain points and help address them through a human touch who is not only serving as a proxy caretaker to the patient but helps build that trust among all the healthcare stakeholders.

Providing a saathi, a dost and someone who knows how to navigate the system be it getting insurance claims processed in the fastest and best possible manner, resolving billing issues with the administrative staff, managing long queues, give you daily billing estimates and do just about anything to make you comfortable, make you feel cared for.

Yes, this a real need for someone who is in a physically distressed situation, for someone whose caretakers are extremely busy in his or her professional lives, for someone who is travelling to an unknown city for treatment, for someone who has dozen family members as caretakers but still gets someone to aid them, in other words for anyone visiting a Hospital for treatment.

Get quality healthcare you truly deserve with myCOL!
